Ocasio-Cortez: just not very bright

(Season 1, Ep. 1)

She joins the chorus of leftists and Democrats placing their ever-cascading intellectual perversity (not the least of which is the socialism stuff) on display on a daily basis.  As much as "progressives" pride themselves on being so bright and intellectually superior, it's just not the case; they're actually more like Dunning-Kruger cases.  The latest from Ocasio-Cortez, in which she sides with fellow Democrat member of congress who vowed the other day to "impeach the motherfucker":

Republican hypocrisy at its finest: saying that Trump admitting to sexual assault on tape is just “locker room talk,” but scandalizing themselves into faux-outrage when my sis says a curse word in a bar.
GOP lost entitlement to policing women’s behavior a long time ago.
Next.

In the twisted cognitive world of Ocasio & Co., such gender-baiting is now the norm even when it is illogical and gratuitous.  To anyone with common sense - this excludes today's unhinged leftists - the gender of the person using foul language toward Trump is entirely irrelevant.

But even more damning of Ocasio's cognitive "skills": anyone who knows how to read and parse language properly knows that Trump was not admitting to sexual assault.  He said that he grabbed women "by the pussy" and that they welcomed it.  ("You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything....Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.")

Perhaps the demonic Democrats have managed to bastardize the meaning of "sexual assault" as well?

The telling part in all this is how fellow Democrats respond to Ocasio's intellectual malpractice.  (There is a professional expectation that a member of Congress should display sound basic reasoning skills; what Ocasio is doing here is most unprofessional, constituting malpractice at least informally.  If "progressives" lived up to their self-labeling, they'd push to make a philosophical education an informal requirement of serving in elected office.  But they don't do philosophy, they do political activism.  Assuredly this, more than anything, makes them Dunning-Kruger cases.)  If the fellow Dems normalize, excuse, evade evidence of, and otherwise enable the malpractice, then they're implicated in it.  Dershowitz is the only Democrat I'm letting off the hook as of yet in the midst of all this unhinged, Dunning-Kruger, Democrat insanity.

[Addendum: Since a hyphenated syndrome designation has a certain ring to it, perhaps 'Ocasio-Cortez syndrome' is more apt than 'Dunning-Kruger syndrome,' or perhaps it is a specific sort of Dunning-Kruger case, i.e., the sort on galling display with "progressive" nitwits as they forcibly impose on others, via politics, the consequences of their intellectual sloth/ignorance.]

[UPDATE 1/25/19: Her tweet above as well as this one from yesterday suggests that it isn't just Dunning-Kruger going on here, but intellectual dishonesty.  It is clear that she didn't bother to exercise due diligence in getting the facts right before smearing a source.  It's also culpable ignorance not to know what the three branches of government are and to pretend that "three chambers of Congress, uh, three chambers of government - House, Senate, Presidency" is any sort of correction.  AOC is (being, at present, an) intellectual lowlife.  I just want those who are bashing Trump for being epistemically reckless not to apply a double standard and excuse her recklessness, that's all.  Is that too much to ask?]
